PushBlack and Enjoy Your Content For the Day

Hey, PushBlack fam! It’s back to school time, and as students start their semesters, we’re experiencing a lot of nostalgia here at PushBlack’s headquarters. One of our favorite memories from school was coming back to our dorm from a long day of class, sitting down on the couch, and watching black sitcoms.

We’ve received some great feedback from folks on our first two emails, and we want more. Email us your thoughts at [email protected] Today we’re highlighting Venus Williams and Chance the Rapper: both have been professionals since their teenage years and are still going strong today.

This Week in Black History

“My ambition is to enjoy my life and to do exactly what I want to do. And I’ll do that. I will be free.”

– Venus Williams

Happy 35th birthday to tennis champion and entrepreneur Venus Williams.

Confident and graceful, Williams has always been a winner both on and off the court. Check out this 48-second video of Venus as a 14 year old. Speaking of great black athletes: congrats to Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors for winning the NBA Title last night.

Surf came out 19 days ago, and we’ve pressed play 149 times. Here’s why.

At the beginning of 2015, Chance the Rapper and the Social Experiment sat down with The Fader to talk about everything from throwing bricks to rejecting numerous record labels. Check out this talented crew.
