New data released by the AFL-CIO revealed that Black women voters are key to electing Hillary Clinton this November.
“A loss for Secretary Clinton is a loss for the black family, from the White House to the Supreme Court. We need to let our communities know what’s at stake if we let a divisive fear monger like Donald Trump make decisions that affect everything from our families to our jobs.”
In addition, new AFL-CIO data also indicated that Black women participate in the leadership in America’s unions at a greater number than the actual unionization rates. It is clear that Black women are leading the way, and we all benefit when Black women are given the opportunities to be in key leadership positions.
PushBlack salutes all the Black women who are leading the way.
