Yes, we’re still talking about this: Testimonies against Sessions

Senator Cory Booker, Representative John Lewis and other Black leaders testified against the confirmation of Senator Jeff Sessions as the next U.S. Attorney General.

In an emotional testimony, leaders called attention to Sessions’ inability to work for “all of us, and not just some of us.” Along with the testimony of about a dozen members of the Congressional Black Caucus and other civil rights leaders,¬†Democrats also released a letter from Black religious leaders declaring Sessions’ as unfit for the position.
